I have admired Lisa Dietlin since the day I met her over five years ago. At that time she was determined to become a charitable giving expert and philanthropic consultant who would appear on either “Good Morning America” or “The Today Show” and share her powerful insights into what I call “smart giving” with people all over the country and the world.

What a surprise it was to get an email from her a couple of months ago asking to meet to talk about her idea for a second book. Her first, book, Transformational Philanthropy, Entrepreneurs and Nonprofits (2010) just came out with a very successful reception. Now she wanted to follow up this book with another great book, this time in the form of a book-journal.

This latest book, Making a Difference, 365 Tips, Ideas and Stories to Change Your World. was just the kind of book I like to take on with Networlding Publishing: Books that Make the World Better. This is a book that will make the world better and it will also make your life better.

Filled with 365 unique, simple yet powerful daily tips and stories this book-journal allows you to seize, embrace and keep your own special, make-a-difference experiences forever tucked securely away inside a one-year journal.

“You should make a difference everyday,” says Dietlin. “There’s something all of us can do every single day to make the world a better place, and it doesn’t necessarily involve making a financial contribution.”

My final statement here . . . buy plenty of these books as gifts for everyone you care about. It will be the gift that keeps on giving–the one they won’t forget.
