I am the “Intuitive Fashioneer”  – bringing Thoughtful and Provoking Comments into the virtual landscape of “What ifs?” Meandering the Blogosphere with Uncommon Quotes used to bridge Separate Realities into One.

What IF two or more famous individuals come together at the Networlding Think Tank and exchange thoughtful and provoking insights with each other?  And, that when mixed together create a compound of new and unique visions for the betterment of humanity?  What would this look like?  Feel like? Sound like? And, how would they interact with each other?  What would the end result – possibly – be?

Marilyn:  Oh, I get it – I am a Hollywood Celebrity…. And, “If I’d observed all the rules, I’d never have got anywhere.”  Thinking of your historic time, it must have been difficult to be a queen!

Marilyn:  Well!  Being a celebrity had its moments, I agree – and it had its challenges…“I don’t mind living in a man’s world as long as I can be a woman in it.

 

 

English: الملكه كيلو باترا العربية: الملكه كيل...Cleopatra:  Men were considered the only smart ones during my time…However, I proved them wrong – as I was well versed in many academics. What languages do you speak?  I know several….

Marilyn:  I speak “sexy” –   However, “A sex symbol becomes a thing. I just hate to be a thing.”  And, “Being a sex symbol is a heavy load to carry, especially when one is tired, hurt and bewildered.” So, I had to carry myself – sometimes with this weight – and feeling of being alone….

 

English: الملكه كيلو باترا العربية: الملكه كيل...Cleopatra:  I agree – Some may think that I was a sex symbol, and many people do not realize that I am a descendent of Alexander the Great – a Greek conqueror who was of strength and tenacity, much of how I had to carry myself as a ruler.

Marilyn:  Well, I am a movie goddess, adored by the public – and “I knew I belonged to the public and to the world, not because I was talented or even beautiful, but because I had never belonged to anything or anyone else.

 

English: الملكه كيلو باترا العربية: الملكه كيل...Cleopatra:  Is it not interesting to note – that we have focused upon our titles and not our being… “All strange and terrible events are welcome, but comforts we despise.”  How is this so?

Marilyn:  I see where you are going with this –We should look towards the comforts of being a woman – and ourselves…. “A career is wonderful, but you can’t curl up with it on a cold night.”  However, “I restore myself when I’m alone.”  Oh, how it must have felt for your honor to have been challenged as a woman….

 

Cleopatra:  “English: الملكه كيلو باترا العربية: الملكه كيل...My honour was not yielded, but conquered merely.”  I continue now to rein on — of not in the body that I inhabited as Queen, but as a spirit in the people’s memories.

Marilyn:  Yes…. Yes… “I’ve never dropped anyone I believed in.” Because we are all human – and need to be cared for – as, “I have feelings too. I am still human. All I want is to be loved, for myself and for my talent.

I was just reading Seth Godin’s blog of the day. It is spot on about sales of books and the dramatic decline in sales we will see as a result of the huge increase in publishing on every platform imaginable. Seth called it “the dark secret of the book industry, and one of the new truths of the music business.” He adds, “Every year, total book sales have been relatively flat, growing just a bit.”
